Man remanded for shooting commercial sex worker

 Hakeem Mumuni, a 28 year old energetic man has been kept in a police custody for shooting a commercial sex worker who refused to have sex with her. According to reports, he has been informed to appear before the court on April 28 by the prestea magistrate Court.

Chief inspector, Samuel Ghartey told the court presider Gordon Kpogi that on Tuesday, 5th April, Hakeem went out where commercial sex workers are located and demanded sex from Aisha. In thier negotiation, Aisha asked him to pay 30gh bit Hakeem decided to offer her Ghc 10.

During the bargaining period, Aisha, the sex worker refused the offer from Hakeem which she stated that the offer was too small, Hakeem who go upset pulled a gun and threatened to shoot Aisha but later absconded.

On the 6th of April, Chief inspector Gharter lamented that, Hakeem again went for the service of a sex worker from the same local and came across a Nigerian by name Promise. The police officer added that, during their chit-chat, Hakeem again pulled a gun and shot at the tighs of the Nigerian woman, decided to run away but unfortunately was arrested and arranged before court.
