Two Poachers arrested at mole National park
The Mole National park has on Saturday 9th April, 2022 arrested two Poachers who are natives of Larabanga in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah region by rangers of the mole national park.
The two who were identified as Mumin Baharu and Osman Ibrahim were arrested
after Rangers who were on a normal patrols in the park heard a gun shot and rushed to the scene where the saw a group of four Poachers on a particular stream who had shot and killed a Buffalo and were about to share the booty among themselves but luck was not on their side as Rangers of park laid ambush on them and managed to arrest them.
The poachers are currently in police custody and will be processed for court.
According to sources, the two are notorious poachers who have been on the wanted list of the Rangers for their continuous entry into the Mole National park for poaching.
