One of Central Gonja's representative in the maiden edition of the Wuripe Savannah Cultural Festival ( WUSACUF ) 2022, Miss Karim Andala known by her stage name as "Jakpache" has been crowned winner of the KAGA Foundation's cultural display show held on Saturday, 21st May, 2022 at the Wuripe and sons Royal lodge in Bole of the Bole District in the Savannah Region.
Miss Karim Andala Jakpache scored 51.1% to beat 6 other contestants who made it to the grand finale to emerge as the Queen of WUSACUF, 2022.
WUSACUF, which was officially launched on 20th January this year saw 14 contestants participating from the seven administrative Municipal and District Assemblies of the Savannah Region which lasted for nine weeks with series of activities with the aim of reviving the interest of the youth in the culture and traditions of Gonjaland, promotion of tourism and to as well expose the potentials of the Savannah region to the rest of the world. The festival, was celebrated on the theme: "Preserving Our Cultural Heritage Through the Youth".
Jakpache drove home a brand new KIA morning Saloon car which was sponsored by Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge and will be enjoying a one - week stay at the Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge, a two-night stay at Zaina Lodge in the Mole National Park and also a trip to the Aqua Safari Resort in the Volta Region.
She also received a plague, certificate of participation and several other souvenirs from some sponsors of program.
The first runner up, Miss Umar Maryam from the Bole District scored 42.2% and walked home with a brand new haojue motorbike, a plague and a certificate of participation.
The second runner up position, Miss Seidu Abiba Kanyiti, who also represented the Central Gonja District came third in the contest and received a deep freezer, a plague, certificate of participation.
The 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th positions went to Soale Sadat (Amando) of East Gonja Municipal with 25.3%, Miss Alele Abi of North Gonja District with 23.3%, Miss Lukman Khadijah Awuanye (Khadi) from West Gonja Municipal with 22.3% and Mrs. Francisca Yotire (Franca) from Sawla Tuna Kalba District with 19% respectively.

The event was graced by Kpembewura Bambange Ndefosu IV, Sonyowura Kanyiti I, Mankpanwura Jakpa Achor - Ade Borenyi I, Kikpandewura Kanyiti II, Kongwura Jinkurige I and several chiefs and Queen Mothers across the Gonja kingdom, the Savannah Regional Minister, member of parliament for Bole/Bamboi, Dr. Sulemana Achanso and several son's and Daughters of Gonjaland.
