The constituency youth organizer of the NPP in the Damongo constituency, Mr. Yussif Yakubu has donated some led Street lights to a youth Group at Sabo - Zongo, a suburb of Damongo in the savannah region.
The youth organizer made the donation on Sunday, 26th June,2022 at the sitting place( base) of the group and said, the donation was in fulfillment of a promise made to the group after his attention was drawn to the distress members of the group and residents around the area go through especially when they converge at the base for their usual night sittings.
He explained that, it is his hope that the street lights when installed, will brighten up the area and as well help in curbing issues of insecurity in the area.
He called on the group to continue to have patience among themselves and with the NPP as they work towards bringing to them more job opportunities so as to help better their lives and urged them to continue to rally behind the member of Parliament for the area, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor and the New patriotic party in their quest to bring development to the area.
The youth organizer promised to work hand in hand with the group and the rest of the youth at the grassroots of the constituency which he said will enable them all to come together in ensuring the growth of the party at the various grassroot levels.
The group thanked Mr. Yakubu Yussif and his team for the gesture and promised to continue to support him in the discharge of his duties as youth organizer.
He was accompanied by the constituency 2nd vice chairman of the NPP, Mr. Salia Mukaila.
