The constituency executives of the NDC in the salaga South Constituency of the Savannah region has on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022 held a press conference at salaga to conderm some recent happenings within the NDC which are being led by some supposed members of the party.

PRESS STATEMENT BY SALAGA SOUTH EXECUTIVES OF NDC.
Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the press.
We've called you here this morning to address you on some pertinent issues relating to our dear NDC party in the Salaga South Constituency.
As you are aware, the NDC in Salaga South has in the last one month suffered various degrees of disgruntle emanating from some renegade, disgruntled and frustrated people from Salaga.
On Saturday 26th June a group of thugs including some suspended members of the party in the Constituency vandalized the party office and disrupted a duly Constituted meeting.
Yesterday 19th July, the same group of people disrupted another meeting called by the Regional Executive of the party to give orientation to Constituency Executives towards the upcoming branch executive elections.
As committed and loyal members of the Great NDC party in Salaga South, we find it necessary to let the world understand that the NDC in Salaga-South is united, stable and battle ready to retain the Salaga-South seat and to increase the presidential votes as we did in election 2020. We want to assure the generality of the NDC membership in the Constituency that they should disregard the violence being perpetrated by the 6 or 10 miscreants parading as NDC members.
No true NDC member will do what they are doing.
No true NDC will work with the NPP against the part's fortunes.
No true NDC members will work towards the defeat of the NDC's candidates in any election.
No true NDC member will work with the NPP towards the defeat of the NDC candidate and when that fails, they resort to venting their frustrations against the NDC party.
The people perpetrating these acts to paint a bad picture of the NDC to the world were the same people who worked with the NPP in 2016 and sabotaged our parliamentary candidate leading to the painful and disgraceful defeat of our candidate in the 2016 general elections and we know all of them by name.
A team committed to victory of our party is not looking back and is not going to look back and dignify these miscreants and charlatans. We will look forward and remain focused in our quest to retain our saet and NOTHING and we repeat NOTHING is going to stop us from retaining the Salaga-South seat in the 2024 elections.
We want all loyal NDC members to remember that we won the seat when these same people worked against us in the 2020 elections and we want to assure you that we the committed and loyal NDC members here converged will work assiduously to deliver another victory to our great NDC party.
We will however want to serve a caution to the miscreants who carried out the 25th June, and 19th misbehavior that the honey moon period is over. Just as our dear flagbeaer John Dramani Mahama declared in the run up to the 2020 elections, we are prepared to meet them BOOT for BOOT our elders say that if persuasion fails, force must be applied. We are serving them notice that we are ready for them and if they say they're men, the next time there's a party activity at the party office, they should come and try to disrupt it. A word to the wise is enough.
