West Gonja MCE holds Engagement with Religious and Opinion Leaders at Damongo

The West Gonja Municipal chief executive, Hon. Musah Karim Kusubari on thursday, 28th July, 2022 held an engagement with some key religious and opinion leaders of Larabanga at Damongo, the municipal capital.

Hon. Musah invited the leaders to his office to enable them delibrate on challenging issues being faced by the community and the possible way to address them.

The MCE noted with concern the numerous developmental challenges that are faced by the Larabanga community and urged the group to outline three key areas  of concern to the community that needs urgent attention to enable him and the member of parliament for the area to tackle them so as to help open up the area for socio economic activities.

Some three major issues tabled before the MCE for his urgent attention in the larabanga area by the leaders include; lack of  Water/mechanized bore holes, Market space and the extension of electricity to newly developed areas in the community.

The chief executive explained that, the provision of a market for the area is one of his priorities and assured them of his commitment to make that a dream come true in other to boost the economic value of the community since most of the  people in the area are predominantly farmers.

He thanked the people of Laribanga through their leaders for their tremendous support given to the NPP and  it's then parliamentary candidate, Lawyer Abu Jinapor prior to the  2020 general elections. 

Hon Musah pleaded with the leaders to continue to pray vigorously with their usual Quranic recitals for the peace and unity of   Laribanga and the Damongo constituency as a whole  and also urged  them to continue to Pray for the MP for the area, Hon. Lawyer Abu Jinapor in his service to the constituency and Ghana as his works are unmatched.

Hon. Musah after the engagement, held breakfast with the group at his office. 

The delegation from Larabanga was led by Alhaji Adam Braimah, the constituency chairman of the NPP in the Damongo constituency, the Assembly member for the larabanga electoral area, Hon. KK and some key religious and opinion leaders.
